On December 17, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved in Dedza as we joined forces to champion mental health awareness among adolescents and young people in some of the selected secondary schools across Malawi.

The campaign was proudly spearheaded by PAUM, represented by President Solomon Chomba and Secretary General Daniel Nasimba, alongside key stakeholders. The Ministry of Education was represented by Joana, while Chitsazo Mafuta attended on behalf of the Ministry of Health.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to MAHECAS, the generous funder of this vital initiative. Their unwavering support is a beacon of hope in addressing mental health challenges faced by our youth.

Together, we are building a future where every young person has access to the mental health support they deserve. Let’s continue to uplift, educate, and empower! 💙
